When I tell people that I am Vegan, their first question is, "Where do you get your protein?".
I've never heard of anyone dying due to lack of protein but to answer the question: legumes, nuts, peas, whole grains, soy products and protein-rich plants, of which there are a lot, that's where.
I've always loved animals and I am Vegan for them. The way we mistreat our fellow creatures after having been given dominion over them is abhorrent. People in general have cognitive dissonance when it comes to the consumption of their flesh. We ought to teach our children about the sources of what they are fed.
The more people that know the truth and are finally unwilling to compartmentalize it, the better off this planet will be. The future truly is Vegan. Eventually, mankind will have no other choice given the statistical realities.
